Elena: "My favorite city in the United States is Seattle. It reminds me of my home. It was the first big U.S. city that I ever visited."
Kurt: "My proudest accomplishment so far is carrying Canada's flag at the Olympics in Albertville."
Scott: "Ten years ago I was starting an ice show called Stars on Ice. It was founded on the notion of freeing up the skaters to do just about anything we want and it still does that. Which is why it's the best skating show in the world."
Christine: "Discover Card Stars On Ice is a family made up of completely different talents and personalities. Everyone is unique but we still work together toward the common goal of producing the best possible show."
Petri: "If the performance doesn't touch people, it's no good. When you've squeezed better than the best out of yourself, it's such a high feeling. You wish it would never end."
Doug: "I believe that this show combines the best mix of production and top-level skating, but the thing I'm proudest of is getting married in the off-season."
Denis: Ten years ago I was a trouble maker who liked girls much more than was good for me. Now I'm much quieter and more calm."
Susanna: "I am most proud of the fact that we rose from last place in 1986 to European Champions in 1995, a task everyone thought was impossible except Petri and I."
Roz: "Being part of Discover Card Stars On Ice is special to me because the cast and crew are like family. We're all very close, but we also get to express our individuality and creativity within the big picture of the show."
Katarina: "I know that no matter what happens, I can always laugh about myself."
Paul: "I think I'm intense, sensitive, busy and always thinking. My proudest accomplishments so far, are graduating from Harvard with honors and winning the silver medal in Albertville, both within a one-year period."
Kristi: "My philosophy on life has always been to make the most out of absolutely everything, to never stop believing in myself and to remember that even the most impossible dream can, through hard work and determination, become reality."

Elena: "The ice is my life. Sometimes I try to do something different, but I always come back because I like this life the most."
Kurt: "I hate the ice. I can hardly wait to skate tomorrow."

Paul: "As a competitor, I see the ice as a playing field, but in Discover Stars On Ice, I feel we have created a theater."
