This just in from IMG! Great news for us kurt fans! Kurt is taking off Jan, Feb and March to be with his family! he has said he has not had a winter off since he was 12 years old. He *will* be back next year for the 1999/2000 tour! And is confirmed for the canadian leg of SOI this year!

Discover Stars On Ice Presented by Smuckers Sets Cast for 1998/99 Tour Season
Jayne Torvill & Christopher Dean had been seen at the Simsbury practice to work on some group numbers witht he cast. Todd Sand is still on crutches.
Scott Hamilton's new book Stars On Ice: The Story of the Champions Tour will be published in November.
8.24.98: 1998 Olympic Gold Medalists Tara Lipinski and Ilia Kulik have joined Discover Stars on Ice 98-99 season. Lu Chen and Steven Cousins have also joined. Brian Orser has a groin pull and will only be touring with the Canadian cast.
Scott Hamilton was seen recently at a golf tournament with a cast on his ankle. He is going to have some surgery on it to remove some chipped bones, and should be ready to go in no time!
